The themes of this introduction include relevant topics for every Christian believer as it deals with the issues of “certainty.” It is said nothing is certain but death and taxes. Luke begs to differ. He makes a startling assertion in the first chapter as his writing: “that you may know the certainty of those things of which you were instructed.” Luke 1:3-4. If you have ever had questions regarding the “certainty” of Christianity, you will want to hear the reasons for Luke’s confidence.
